AESTHETIC SURGERY – The cat-eyed supermodel with the perfect body Linda Evangelista has been on the covers of several fashion magazines and catwalks for adults, like Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford. She had been off the radar for five years … until today, Thursday, September 23.

She reveals, in a touching message posted on her Instagram account, the reason for her silence: we learn that the top model has undergone cosmetic surgery which has disfigured her, making her “unrecognizable”.

The operation in question, cryolipolysis, is a technique for destroying fat cells by cold, which promises to reshape the figure in a non-invasive way. And yet … her surgery did “the exact opposite of what she promised,” she writes. Supposed to reduce fats, it considerably increased them by multiplying fat cells.

After undergoing two “painful” restorative surgeries, which turned out to be “ineffective”, she says she fell into a depression and felt “deep sadness” when she noticed that her body would be “permanently deformed”.

In this Instagram post, she also claims to have contracted a disease, paradoxical fat hyperplasia, which she was not warned about prior to the operation. This disease, a rare side effect of cryolipolysis, leaves a painless, larger and firm mass on the treated area under the skin.

Linda Evangelista, who now lives “recluse”, announces that she will take the case, which has taken away her “means of subsistence”, to justice. This decision allows him to “come out of his shame” and speak out publicly on this subject.

In response, there were many messages of support under his post, especially from celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Cindy Crawford, and even Brandon Maxwell and Marc Jacobs.
