Two-time Australian World Champion Logan Martin has confirmed that he is the rider to beat in men’s BMX freestyle.

Martin was the only rider to complete the two seeding rounds on Saturday scored more than 90 points in the Ariake Sports Park when Freestyle celebrated its Olympic debut.

As in the two races on Saturday, Martin will now start last in the medal round on Sunday.

Compatriot Natalya Diehm, the four Knee reconstruction is the fifth of nine women riders.

The American Hannah Roberts, the three-time world champion, leads with 87.70 and compatriot Perris Benegas is second with 86.50.

Australia Was aiming for two men’s medals, but former world champion Brandon Loupos needed a knee reconstruction after injuring himself on world titles last month.
