THE Magnolia Hotshots bounced back from a 16 point deficit in the fourth quarter to put the NLEX Road Warriors in double overtime 112-105 in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Don Honorio Ventura State University Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga. The hotshots appeared early on the fourth as they fell 71-87 after NLEX striker Anthony Semerad shot a triple. However, Magnolia roared back to tie the game at 94 following a Paul Lee free throw. In extra time, Magnolia was three points behind, 101-104, 10 seconds from time, but little-known striker Aris Dionisio sent the game into extra overtime when he scored a three to make the game 104 with just 2.4 seconds to tie.
