It is crowned with a title at the Victoires de la Musique, that Benjamin Biolay returns to the Nuits de Fourvière for two concerts this Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9:30 pm. For his sixth participation in the festival, the singer from Villefranche-sur-Saône returns with a ninth studio album that gives pride of place to rock and marks his return “to the sources of orchestral pop both virtuoso and totally uninhibited”, underline the organizers. Released a year ago, Grand Prix was inspired by the artist’s all-consuming passion for Formula 1.

While the Rhône department is placed on orange “rain-flood” vigilance and the equivalent of a month of rain for a month of July is expected this Tuesday, the organizers recall on their site that “the cancellation decisions due to bad weather are rare and are always done at the last moment “. They also state that “for reasons of visibility and safety umbrellas of any kind are prohibited”.
