Barnes, 23, was one of the star players in Brendan Rodgers’ side hoping to secure the Champions League game next season.

With 13 goals and four assists for the Foxes, Barnes has now caught the attention of some of the bigger clubs who need more goal threats.

Barnes’s deal at Leicester lasts three more seasons, but a new contract is likely needed to fend off the suitors.

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is ready for talks with the club over a new contract, the Sun reports.

The center-back only has 16 months left on his current contract, and while some would not like to see him go, others believe he has not been able to show his full potential so far for his tenure at Old Trafford.

It comes after Bailly has sparked interest from Italian and Spanish clubs, although the new deal runs for three years – stopping him from a solid future at Manchester.

The 19-year-old has been able to burst onto the scene so far with Slavia Prague and as the Czech team’s journey to the Europa League continues, so will Sima’s progress.

The Toffees have strong attacking players at their disposal, but it’s a clear sign that manager Carlo Ancelotti is already starting to look to the future.

– Time zone confusion cost Manchester United the chance to sign Erling Haaland in 2019, the Mirror reports. The report says the plan was for a United representative to call Haaland’s agent Jim Solbakken at 9 a.m. to set up a deal that would have seen him move from Molde to Old Trafford for £ 3million plus Additional modules. However, Molde thought it would be 9 am Norwegian time – and by the time it hit 10, they had already made a deal with FC Salzburg.

– Liverpool plan to hire Xherdan Shaqiri to leave this summer, according to Football Insider. The Reds signed Shaqiri in 2018 for around £ 13million, but the club are hoping to secure £ 23million for the Swiss star’s services.

– Celtic expect to receive interest in defenseman Kristoffer Ajer, according to interim manager John Kennedy. Speaking at a press conference, Kennedy made it clear that Ajer’s future could easily be pulled away from the Scottish giants. “With his profile of speed, size, technique and ability – he’s going to be interested in him. When that comes, it will be the club and Kris himself who will make this decision. “
