The 3rd day of Ligue 1 saw Metz and the Stade de Reims oppose the Saint-Symphorien stadium. Tie for this match! The two teams separated on the score of 1 to 1. If Antonetti’s team were placed in the usual 4-3-3 to start the meeting, Óscar asked his Reims team to position themselves in 3-4 -2-1, with Toure en pointe.

The Messins were quickly led, from the 7th minute of the first half. It was on a pass from Konan that Munetsi found the loophole. Finally, Maïga folded the meeting in the first half with a goal in the 14th, on a service from Sarr.

We were able to attend a strong meeting. A yellow card was distributed to Bronn, as well as to Foket, Vagner, Kebbal, Niane and Sarr.

The draw dropped Metz to 17th place, ahead of LOSC. Despite the draw, Stade de Reims moved up the rankings and therefore ended this 3rd day in 5th place.

Metz will play against Clermont at the Gabriel-Montpied stadium on August 29 at 3 p.m. PSG will face Stade de Reims the same day at 8:45 p.m., at the Auguste-Delaune stadium.
