Liga: with Karim Benzema on fire and Camavinga scorer, Real Madrid offers Celta Vigo

At the end of the 4th day of La Liga, Real Madrid received Celta de Vigo. On this occasion, the Merengues returned to their den at the Santiago Bernabeu after several months of work. Victorious 1-0 of Betis Sevilla before the international break, the Merengues were aiming for a third success this season. For its part, Celta defeated by Bilbao (0-1) on the last day, hoped to thwart the plans of his evening opponent. For this 9 pm poster, Carlo Ancelotti opted for a 4-3-3 with Hazard, Benzema and Vinicius in the lead. Eduardo Coudet relied on a 4-4-2 with the duo Aspas, Santi Mina in attack. The Merengues were suspended early in the match. Following a mess in the area, Casemiro and Nacho missed each other, Santi Mina took advantage of it and closely adjusted Courtois (0-1, 4th). Annoyed, Real set off to attack the goals guarded by Dituro. The Celta goalkeeper also saved his family on a header from Vinicius (7th).

Ancelotti’s men pushed and Hazard saw his attempt well captured by Dituro (15th). Quite logically, the Casa Blanca stuck to the score. Following a long ball from Casemiro, Valverde on the right straightened the ball and served Benzema at the penalty spot. The French striker deceived Dituro with a nice volley (1-1, 24th). Unfortunately for Real, Eduardo Coudet’s men regained the advantage after half an hour. On a counter, Hugo Mallo Novegil distilled an excellent center for Franco Cervi who saw his heel returned by the post. The leather returned to the left midfielder who scored the second goal (1-2, 32nd).

Just before the break, Real Madrid thought to equalize by Benzema but Casemiro was in an offside position (39th). Upon returning from the locker room, the Merengues were quick to equalize. Gutierrez distilled a good cross for Benzema whose superb header deceived Dituro (2-2, 46th). Nine minutes later, the Madrilenians took control of the operations. Benzema launched into the depth Vinicius who closely adjusted Dituro (3-2, 55 ‘). Friable defensively tonight, Ancelotti’s proteges found themselves under pressure and Courtois saved his family twice (57th). In the 66th minute, Carlo Ancelotti decided to offer his first minutes in the Madrid jersey to Eduardo Camavinga (66th).

A few seconds after the entry into play of the French midfielder, Vinicius took advantage of an error by Nestor Araujo to go alone on goal but stumbled on Dituro (66th). Six minutes after his entry, Camavinga would go down in the history of his new club. Modric slipped into Celta’s defense and saw his outside foot pushed back by Dituro. The ball came back to the former Rennais who pushed the leather to the back of the net (4-2, 72nd). At the end of the match, Real Madrid obtained a penalty following a foul by Denis Suarez on Vinicius (86th). Karim Benzema did not tremble and offered himself a hat-trick (5-2, 88th). Thanks to this fourth success of the season, Casa Blanca climbed to second place in the standings.
