There will be fans in the stands for Game Seven on Monday night between the Leafs and Habs.

In a reversal of a weekend ruling, Premier Doug Ford says 550 fully vaccinated healthcare workers will be on the frontline of the game in the Scotiabank Arena in person.

According to Ford, the decision to allow fans was made after discussions with the Chief Medical Officer for Health, Toronto Public Health and hospital partners.

Health and long-term care workers will be asked at least two Weeks have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, and Ford is confident they can put these particular fans in the stands safely with minimal risk.
