The SNP won 19,860 votes, or 49 percent of a record turnout, in a Scottish election.

Murdo Fraser was second among the Conservatives with 15,807 votes, or 39 percent of the vote.
Both the SNP and the Tories recorded a slight increase in their share of the vote, the SNP by 0.9 Percent and the Tories by 0.6 percent.
Labor candidate Ryan Smart won six percent of the vote, while Liberal Democratic candidate Peter Barrett received 1,882 votes.
