The Prime Minister is on an official visit in the agglomeration of Caen (Calvados), this Friday, August 27, 2021. He is going in particular to Colombelles and Carpiquet.
The Government strongly believes in this kind of place and wants to know it. To praise the merits of third places, these shared workspaces, as part of the great revival that must accompany the end of the health crisis linked to Covid-19, Prime Minister Jean Castex is going to Carpiquet this Friday, August 27, 2021 and Colombelles, in the agglomeration of Caen (Calvados). He is accompanied by four other government officials. Follow their visit.

9:29 a.m. After the design spaces, the ministerial team goes to meet the professionals installed in the coworking space.
9:22 a.m. Discussions are nourished, also with Alain Griset, Minister responsible for small and medium-sized enterprises. The craftsmen present on site talk about their economic model and the advantages offered by the pooling of resources and the workplace, at the Norman Workshop in Carpiquet:

9:12. The visit to the Norman Workshop continues. State representatives interact with the artisans present on site about their work, the procedures followed and the necessary means. For example, Yann, a carpenter specializing in historical monuments. His presence at the Norman Workshop costs him € 500 per month. He thus has access to all the services and resources of the third place: welding, carpentry, coworing space and FabLab (digital projects). He also installed a few machines of his own.

8:34. The Prime Minister accompanied by four other representatives of the State is expected at 9 am in Carpiquet, for a visit of the Norman Workshop. This is a large space for working with wood and steel, open to professionals and individuals.
