JAY-Z’s highly anticipated collaborations from The Harder They Fall with Kid Cudi titled “Guns Go Bang” and with Jadakiss and Conway The Machine titled “King Kong Riddim” are both here.
After about three and a half minutes there is the cut of “Guns Go Bang”, in which the two deliver a text appropriate for the western film, while they touch on vengeance and violence. “Do not tempt my hand, I am just a man / A deadly scene, a weathered creature / Men have to cry where soldiers lie on threatened land”, Cudi sings in the prechoir, the sound of the track being vibrating. Strings are supported, giving it an epic atmosphere. Meanwhile, “King Kong Riddim” offers a more aggressive tone with fast-paced rhymes from Hov, Jadakiss, Conway and guest artist BackRoad Gee.
The Harder They Fall soundtrack also includes tracks by Ms. Lauryn Hill, Koffee, CeeLo Green and others. The Netflix western starring Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, LaKeith Stanfield, Regina King and more premieres on November 3rd on the streaming service.
