A crime scene has been reported and an investigation is underway into the cause of the fire, which has caused significant damage.

There were 11 fire departments on site and reports from motorists about heavy smoke in the area.

The Old Cleveland Road from the intersection of Moreton Bay Road to the intersection of Redland Bay Road remained closed and long delays were expected.
