After a year disrupted by the Covid-19, the Halloween parties are making a comeback this year. Visitors are also at the rendezvous of the Manoir Halloween Festival in Paris.

For the first time this year, the Manoir de Paris is organizing the Manoir Halloween Festival at La Villette de Paris, until October 31. An event that comes after festivities disrupted last year because of the health crisis and the second confinement. Halloween fans can therefore catch up this year in the 4,000 m² dedicated to horror, with four haunted houses and other activities, surrounded by the monsters of the Manoir de Paris.

For Sud Radio, our reporter took part in this feast of horror. Like her, the participants came to seek thrills. “I am very, very afraid of the monsters all around me who approach my ear and make strange noises. I am going to hang on to my friends and try not to see too much”, Léa smiles after the passage of a zombie near her. “My heart is still beating at 1,000 an hour”, reacts Fatima for her part as she leaves one of the haunted houses of the event. “Frankly, the sets are super well done,” she adds.

Many of them want to enjoy Halloween this year after having celebrated it confined last year. About 6,000 people a day since the start on October 22. “We felt that there was a strong demand to be able to do something again for Halloween this year,” says Marie Ferreux, the manager of the Manoir de Paris which manages the event. People really need to have fun, she assures us: “There is horror, but not that. There are characters who will make you laugh or intrigue you, others who will chase you or others that will make you scream. There are a lot of different emotions. “

It is still possible to attend the event by reserving your place online on the Manoir de Paris website.
