The departmental road 57 cut off to traffic. An extremely violent accident took place on Tuesday, August 31, shortly after 3 p.m.
Without knowing exactly the circumstances, two vehicles collided almost head-on on the RD 57 on Tuesday, August 31.
A C4 vehicle coming from Itancourt was said to have left its road and was struck by another coming from Mézières-sur-Oise. The toll is heavy, with four seriously injured: the passenger in the C4 and three of the four passengers in the other car, all from Sery-les-Mézières. The last passenger and the driver of the Citroën were more slightly injured. Two more seriously injured people were taken by helicopter to the Amiens hospital center. The departmental road is currently closed to traffic while the two vehicles are wrecked.
