The Blues won their third group match of Euro volleyball 2021 in four sets against Germany on Monday.
The two giants of Pool D clashed. And in the end, the men’s French team won on Monday, September 6, against Germany for their third meeting. A success not so easy as that, since the recent Olympic champions have especially waltzed between hot and cold in the first two sets before rolling out and making their experience speak (31-29, 15-25, 25-22, 25- 22).
Bernardo Rezende’s men, already winners 3-0 against Slovakia on Friday, and 3-0 against Croatia on Sunday, opened the doors to the round of 16 and consolidate their first place in the group. The Blues are now turned to Latvia on Wednesday to finish the group stage and tackle serious matters with the start of the knockout matches.
