Uruguay International, Edinson Cavani has lost the idea of traveling to South America for international missions with his country.
Uruguay have confirmed that the forward will not travel for his World Cup qualifiers.
The Premier League announced last week that the clubs had agreed “reluctantly but unanimously” not to release players for international matches which would be played in countries on the red list.
Uruguay went ahead to include Cavani in their match preparation despite the decision.
Cavani was to travel with Uruguay to Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador, countries on the UK’s Red List.
However, the South American country has now announced in a brief statement that it has “canceled” Cavani’s call-up for his upcoming matches.
Solskjaer had issued a stern warning to Cavani and Fred, asking the two South Americans to choose the club over their country.
