Suspicious shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride, valued at an estimated 68,000 pesos, was confiscated by officers from Police Station 7 in Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City, around 9:40 pm during a drug demonstration. Saturday September 11th. Police said the operation resulted in the arrest of Geraldine Ereje, 22, from Purok Maanyag 2 in Barangay Alijis, after allegedly selling a bag of Shabu to a buyer of police posers.

Ereje’s companion, John Paul Rodriguez, 28, from the said village, escaped arrest when he discovered they were dealing with police officers. An additional three bags with alleged shabu weighing 10 grams and the marked money were arrested by Ereje after her. The suspect is being held in the Detention Center at Police Station 7. Ereje is charged with violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. She has no comment. (MAP)
