Oct 28 (UPI) – Dan Levy discussed the catchphrase “Ew, David” from Schitt’s Creek and his latest book on the series while performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Levy noted on Wednesday how several fans put the catchphrase on their license plates, which it features in his newly published book, Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: The Story of Schitt’s Creek. The book gives a look behind the scenes of the comedy series.

“I can’t answer why this happened, but I knew it happened. We asked people and said if you have a license plate, send it. This is a small part of what actually came in “Levy said as Kimmel showed” Ew, David “license plates from several states.

” It got kind of a slogan that I think will haunt me for the rest of my life, “he continued away. “‘Ew’ isn’t exactly something you want to be yelled at in your most vulnerable time.”

Levy also shared that one of his goals was to create a show where fans would dress up as characters for Halloween want. Kimmel presented photos of fans in Schitt’s Creek costumes for the holiday.

“I got a feeling that if you dress people the same way long enough, maybe people will try to emulate that in a Halloween scenario when they watch your show,” Levy said.
