Romain Bardet is no longer applying for the selection for the road world championships. The Brivadois, who was part of a list of 13 pre-selected riders, warned the manager of the France team of his withdrawal for the 2021 edition of the Worlds, which will be held on September 26 in Louvain (Belgium).
“He called me to tell me that he had caught a cold after the European Championship (last Sunday, in Trento, Italy)”, Thomas Voeckler told the newspaper L ‘ Team.
