The town hall of Craon (Mayenne) announces the voluntary degradation of a tent which was to host the Christmas market. Straps were reportedly cut during the night of Friday 26 to Saturday 27 November 2021. The city has filed a complaint.

It’s an awkward moment on the eve of the opening of the Craon Christmas market (Mayenne). On the night of Friday to Saturday, November 27, a barnum which was to accommodate some of the exhibitors was deliberately destroyed, announces the city.

Straps supposed to retain the weights which ballast this great barnum would have been deliberately cut off during the night. The wind swept away the structure, destroying the tent borrowed from the community of communes.

During the day on Saturday, volunteers were busy setting up other shelters to welcome the exhibitors as planned. A complaint was lodged by the city of Craon, which “regrets that an event planned for all and for our city, is the target of this kind of inconvenience”.
