More than 10 million French people have received their two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. The vaccinated tend to let go and have abandoned barrier gestures. This is the “vaccinee syndrome”, understood by health workers.

Health professionals have warned about the risks of “vaccinee syndrome”. They recalled that it is essential to apply the barrier gestures, and this until the 15th day of the second dose.

The first antibodies do not appear until two weeks after a person is vaccinated. These antibodies gradually increase.

“We remain vulnerable during the fourteen days following the first injection of the vaccine since the immune defenses have not yet had time to do their work, (…) as if we were not yet vaccinated finally” confirmed the doctor. Vincent Humbert, director of the Caen vaccination center.

It is important to apply barrier gestures until further notice. The Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, indicated at the beginning of the month “We can consider lowering our guard when enough people have been vaccinated”.
