Residents of Broomhill and Partick in the west of Glasgow could see the two Chinooks circling for minutes.

“When it was clear that the helicopters were circling, I went outside to see and could feel the ground vibrate there they were really pretty low, maybe a few hundred feet.

“I suppose it was a Cop26-related exercise – so are we going to have to endure this for two weeks in November?”

During the MoD Website lists the locations that will be affected by low-flying aircraft, but Glasgow is not one of them.
