CEBU Governor Gwendolyn Garcia insisted on her stance that every individual has the choice to be vaccinated. At a press conference on August 25, Garcia did not reveal the date of her vaccination or the brand of vaccine she will be given.

Garcia said she was still waiting for the brand that would suit her best as she had acquired a lot of allergies.
