According to AFL.com.au’s Mitch Cleary, Carlton and CEO Cain Liddle are said to have split after a difficult 2021 season.
Liddle is the latest key name to leave Princes Park this year, being senior coach David Teague was fired from his post after the club finished 13th.
It is understood that the Blues staff have been informed of the club’s decision to part ways with Liddle, with the Carlton CEO now Teague, Assistant Coaches Brent Stanton and Dale Amos and President Mark LoGiudice are leaving the club.
Liddle was named CEO of Carlton in November 2017, succeeding Stephen Trigg for the position at Ikon Park.
Newly arrived President Luke Sayers attempted to overhaul the Blues’ football division following an outside review of the club’s operations at the end of this season.
