Berlin: Bayern Munich go into the Club World Cup with five wins in a row after the winner of the first half of Kingsley Coman gave the Bundesliga leaders a 1-0 victory at Hertha Berlin on Friday.
With the win, Bayern are 10 points ahead of second-placed RB Leipzig, who have a game in hand against the crisis-ridden Schalke on Saturday.
“We could have scored a few more goals today,” said Bayern striker Thomas Müller opposite the broadcaster DAZN.
“We now have a few victories in a row and we are looking forward to the Club World Cup.”
Coman found the net with a deflected shot in the 21st minute, leaving Bayern all three Giving points in snowy Berlin just a few hours before they went to Qatar for the next week’s tournament.
Nevertheless, they had to get past a Hertha team first, which was caused by the return of former coach Pal Dardai last month and the Arrival of the former German midfielder Sami Khedira was strengthened in a free transfer from Juventus.
However, Khedira only played 10 minutes as a substitute when Bayern fought for a narrow win.

But the Brazilian chip over the Bayern keeper ran past the post and triggered fear from the Berliner Bank.
