The government has downgraded the quarantine status in the provinces of Bulacan, Apayao and Capiz to General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

Palace spokesman Harry Roque said that the GCQ status in these areas will be in effect from October 18-31 The Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has previously placed Bulacan and Apayao under a modified extended community quarantine and Capiz under GCQ with tightened restrictions.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila has over the weekend changed to alert level 3, as the Covid-19 cases continue to decline.

Restaurants, fitness studios, wellness and aesthetic centers such as spas, internet cafes, museums, libraries, billiard halls, cinemas and arcades for fully vaccinated people are allowed to go under alert level 3 30 percent internal capacity can be operated.
