Biden has a choice – does he want to establish his legacy as the president who fought for the right to vote or not?

To be remembered as the president who fought for the right to vote, Biden must do more than asking the Senate to pass a voting law. He knows as well as we do that bills like the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act won’t get through the Senate unless we get rid of the filibuster.

Biden must publicly and unequivocally die Support the abolition of filibusters to pave the way for these crucial reforms. It’s time for Biden to be the leader he promised to call on the Senate to end the filibuster and protect our franchise.
