Abstract. This is the media and legal event of the new school year: the trial of the November 2015 attacks is due to open on September 8 before the Special Assize Court in Paris. 20 people will be tried for their alleged involvement in the terrorist attacks that killed 130 people in the capital and in Saint-Denis.
The main defendant, Salah Abdeslam, has been silenced since his incarceration in France in April 2016. Justice, victims and their relatives, however, await answers from the only living member of the murderous commando.
Timothée Boutry of the Parisian police-justice service, tells the story of Salah Abdeslam for Code source.
