Joint police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have arrested a high value suspect (HVT) in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga Sibugay province, an official said Thursday, Aug. 26. Zamboanga Peninsula, identified the HVT suspect as Rendon Ryan Amarille, 34, who was listed as number 10 priority in the anti-drug campaign in Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Ylangan said Amarille was arrested by joint police officers and PDEA agents around 7:40 p.m. during an anti-drug operation. Wednesday at Purok 3, Tigbangagan Village, Kabasalan. Amarille was seized with a value of 3,400 pesos of substance believed to be shabu and 500 pesos of marked money. Ylangan said the suspect was being charged for violating the 2002 Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and was detained. (SunStar Zamboanga)
