Adele will take the stage for the first time in five years next year in London. After his Instagram announcement, his website for registering for presale tickets went down!

Adele has announced her return to the stage! The Rolling in the Deep singer delighted her fans when she announced Tuesday morning (Oct. 26, 21) that she would perform in Hyde Park, London on July 1-2, 2022. This will be her first concerts live in five years, not having performed publicly since the end of her previous tour in June 2017.

The artist announced the dates by sharing the poster with the words ‘Oiii Oiiiiiiiiiiiii’, a quintessentially British way of calling someone, followed by a heart emoji and a link to register for the presale of tickets on its website.

Fans were quick to express their frustration on social media, however, as the site apparently crashed, making it impossible to register for preview tickets. The general sale for the shows will be open from October 30, while the presale starts tomorrow (Oct. 28, 21).

The 33-year-old artist’s concerts will take place as part of the BST Hyde Park festival next year, whose lineup also includes Elton John, Duran Duran and Pearl Jam. It will also be the return of the festival itself, the organizers having been forced to cancel the 2020 and 2021 editions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Adele has returned to the limelight this month with her new single Easy on Me, while her fourth studio album, 30, will be released on November 19. The British star will also be interviewed by Oprah Winfrey on a two-hour special called One Night Only on November 14, during which she will perform in a concert.
