More than 60 potential victims, twenty complaints filed, seven years of investigation and still no trial. However, Florence like her sister remain determined, united in the same fight: to bring their gynecologist to court for acts of rape and sexual assault.

In 2014, Florence was 39 years old. Following her childbirth, she practices weekly rehabilitation sessions with her gynecologist. Until the day the consultation got out of hand. “After half an hour, I feel the breath of the nose, on me … finally on my clitoris”, she recalls in the video of “Seven to eight” at the top of this article. Stunned, she dared do nothing to push him away.

“It’s weird to explain, even now, I really blame myself for not reacting,” she testifies, sobs in her voice. The almost 40-year-old is also plagued by guilt for recommending this gynecologist to her younger sister, Marie. The latter had never seen a specialist before, but she is also quickly confused by the doctor.

The two sisters then file a complaint against Bernard Henric. After investigation, nearly sixty other patients tell stories of rape, assault, some reporting “back and forth movements with the fingers in the vagina” or “caresses pressed on the clitoris, without gloves “. The doctor is indicted, but continues to claim his innocence.

“I do not even understand what is reproached to me,” assures publicly and for the first time in front of the cameras of “Seven to Eight” this notable from Arras, who has been practicing since 1995. “Because I have never done that. , quite simply, because I never did that. Do you think that that, I will not remember it? “, he asks during a meeting in the office of his lawyers.

However, during the investigation, the judge asked for an expert report concerning the doctor, which establishes that his practices “are without medical justification” and have “an obvious sexual character”. Despite this finding, Dr. Bernard Henric continues to practice. If he is prohibited from gynecology, he can still practice endocrinology.

A situation which revolts the women who declared themselves victims. “I really don’t want him to go to jail. I want him to stop, that’s all,” said Florence, who fears other victims.

Faced with these testimonies, the gynecologist said he was ready to face a trial. “I aspire to be able to simply answer the real questions and I think I have the answers because the answers are easier when you are innocent,” he says. If found guilty, Bernard Henric faces up to 20 years in prison.
