The 79-year-old man left his home to go to the Hillion pétanque club in Côtes-d’Armor on Monday. But the septuagenarian had finally not joined his companions as planned in the early afternoon. Then, at the end of the day, he had not returned home, which had alerted his relatives. After the broadcast of a
call for witnesses by the gendarmes, the body of the retiree was finally discovered Wednesday, at the beginning of the afternoon, report our colleagues from Ouest-France.

The missing person’s car, a white Renault Kangoo, had been reported near a body of water, in the town of Morieux. The gendarmes of the Pléneuf-Val-André brigade carried out searches and located the man’s body shortly afterwards. This one was in the water and would have died by drowning. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
