After a successful first edition in 2019, the “Nantes sous pression” craft beer festival will return from September 20 to 26 through the city’s breweries. A grand finale will also be scheduled for September 25 and 26 at Solilab with 40 breweries and entertainment.
After a successful first edition in 2019, the “Nantes sous pression” festival is making a big comeback! This festival which celebrates craft beer for a whole week in Nantes is the result of a collaboration between the associations Nantes Beer Club and Cafard Nahum. While the first association works to promote craft beer from Nantes and its region, the second promotes the alternative scene through the organization of concerts. A ready-made alliance to set up an event such as Nantes under Pressure.
This event is divided into two stages: a first part from November 20 to 24 where around forty events will be organized in dozens of partner venues. Among them are La Fossette, Le Chemin de Diagon, Le Bubar, Au Père Peinard, Délirium et Fleurs du Malt, Le Melting Potes, Le Bier Market, Le Coup du Lapin, … with food and beer pairings, brewery tours, evenings around beer and local breweries, meetings with brewers, … The full program can be found here!
To conclude this beautiful beer festival, meet on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September at Solilab for a grand finale. 40 local, French and even international craft breweries will be present all weekend and will offer workshops and conferences on local breweries and beer brewing.
Admission to the final is paid as are the events during this weekend (€ 7 Saturday, € 6 Sunday) and includes access to the event and conferences, the festival program and a tasting glass in gift.
