Eight months after offering PSG the first Champions League final in its history, Thomas Tuchel can bring Chelsea back to the C1 final, nine years after his first coronation.

The mission was however complicated which, a few weeks after being dismissed by PSG, had to put a limping Chelsea back on the right track. But Thomas Tuchel quickly found the keys in London.

Four months after his arrival, the German coach brought Chelsea back to the top 4 in the Premier League, he guided the Blues to the FA Cup final and he also sent his team to the last four of the Champions League.

But, and even if Chelsea have become almost invincible under Thomas Tuchel (14 wins, 5 shares and 2 small losses), the Blues will approach their semi-final in the skin of the outsider, because Real Madrid necessarily endorses the label of favorite.

But that does not prevent the Blues coach from considering this semi-final to go with optimism and envy. “We just won a very important game against West Ham and it was the best way to prepare for our semi-final. We may have a certain lack of experience (compared to Real), but we can compensate for it by envy and enthusiasm, “insisted Thomas Tuchel at a press conference.

After dismissing Atletico and Porto in C1, after offering Manchester City in the FA Cup, after taming Liverpool and Tottenham in the league, the Blues and Thomas Tuchel dream of offering themselves the scalp of Real Madrid to offer Chelsea the third Champions League final in its history.
