SIX people were arrested while over 100,000 pesos worth of illicit drugs were seized when the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) dismantled a drug den in Zamboanga City late Friday, November 26, 2021. PDEA Investigation Agent III Jury Rocamora said the drug den was dismantled during a raid around 6:50 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2021 in Sitio Barigon in the village of Tugbungan.

Rocamora identified the arrested suspects as follows: Samuel Zambales; Mary Cris Enciso; Romel Alabado; Bensar Sabdani; William Fernández; and Robin Jardiolin. Rocamora said the PDEA agents, armed with a search warrant, raided the drug den maintained by Zambales and his living partner Enciso after a series of surveys of the site, following a series of surveys of suspected shabu worth P102,000 and several illegal drug paraphernalia from the drug pit . He said the suspects were arrested while charges were being prepared against them for violating the 2002 Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (SunStar Zamboanga)
