CEBU CITY – Five graduates from universities based in Cebu were among the front runners in the civil engineer license examination 2021.

Two students from the Cebu Institute of Technology University (CIT-U), two students from the University of San Carlos (USC) and one landed in the top 10 successful candidates of Cebu Technological University (CTU) -Danao City Campus.

Kamelle Apurado Legazpi from CIT-U took second place overall with a pass rate of 92.05 percent G. Another CIT-U graduate, Jodane Estreba Paez, achieved the fifth highest pass rate with 91.70.

In sixth place was Frances Noel Bontia Carvajal from CTU-Danao with a pass rate of 91.50.

Die USC products John Philippe Del Valle Dakay and Mathew Niño Go Dy took eighth place with identical pass rates of 91.15.

Rajiv Nooh Dalagan Amil from the Ateneo de Davao University achieved the highest pass rate with 93.25. </ According to the professional code commission, 2,374 of 6,474 candidates passed the exam with a success rate of 36.67. The exam took place in November last year.
