Michel Dussuyer, coach of the national football team of Benin, unveiled during a press conference this Tuesday, August 24 in Cotonou, the list of 24 players who will cross the crampon with the national team of Madagascar on the 2nd next September and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on September 6 as part of the first two days of qualifying for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ™.
This list is marked by the presence of six players playing on the African continent including two locals: Rodrigue Kossi, Bourou Samadou, Marcel Dandjinou, Junior Olaïtan, Chérif Dîne Kakpo and Marcellin Koukpo. Michel Dussuyer also called on two players absent from the last rally in June on the 6th and final day of the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone.
If Khaled Adénon, Jordan Adéoti, Steve Mounié, Michael Poté, Cédric Hountondji, Olivier Verdon, Jodel Dossou or even Saturnin Allagbé are present, Fabien Farnolle, David Kiki, Jacques Bessan and Jérôme Bonou were not selected.
